Viola Brawnanvil

Viola is a short, stout dwarven girl with slightly tanned skin. She has short, dark chocolate hair that curls wildly around her naive looking face and bright green eyes.
Tucked under her shirt is her favorite possession, a thick locket with plenty of space to put pictures of loved ones.
She currently has a picture of her and her parents when she was younger as well as Branuck Brewgrip, a dwarf she had a crush on.
She wears heavy armor over an old green shirt as well as simple brown pants and boots that, due to her small stature, rise up to her knees.
Yet what she lacks in height, she makes up for in strength. She has various faded burn marks along her arms and legs and along the front of her neck is a recently made, long running scar.
Viola is a teenage hill dwarf from Salisdows Hill Village.
Growing up she was raised under her parents' wings, Thazzida Brawnanvil (mother) and Sathun Onyxjaw Brawnanvil (father), to uphold the family tradition of being a blacksmith.
Being young and a little naive, Viola fell in love with a new dwarven gardener in her village, Branuk Brewgrip, who had also developed feelings for her.
However, hiding his true intentions and his reason for being in Salisdows, Viola was unaware that Branuk was sent as a scout by the dwarven warlord, Dorgruck Bluntbranch.
He was sent to gather information about the village as Dorgruck had decided to begin his conquest.
Hoping that his warlord would spare Viola in his bloody conquest, Branuk told Dorgruck of her talent in her parents’ shop.
Eager to recruit a blacksmith to arm his own forces, Dorgruck tested Viola by forcing her to make him a sword using rare metals she’s only heard of in books.
While making the sword, Viola noticed more and more people vanishing from her village while new occupants replaced them.
Realizing that the people in her own home were being killed and that she was face to face with a warlord, Viola presented the sword to him but only to attack him with it and blind him in his left eye.
Enraged, Dorgruck slashed at Viola, leaving a long gash along her neck before chasing her away into the woods and presuming that she would die from her wounds.
Sneaking back home at night, Viola returned to gather supplies and her parents only to find that her home was ransacked and her parents were missing.
Viola fled once again in the cover of night, with the intent to return and kill Dorgruck and fulfill her dream of becoming a famously known blacksmith.
